Terms and conditions

These terms apply to every course and training programme you book through SafetyXAcademy.

1. Who we are

SafetyXAcademy is a trade name of ABshops.nl, a sole proprietorship registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 72037628. Our registered address is Weena 70, 3012 CM Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Courses take place at the venue stated for that course. B-VCA takes place at Westplein 12, 3016 BM Rotterdam.

2. Prices

All prices on this website are in euros. Any applicable VAT statement is shown with the relevant offer and on the invoice.

3. Enrolment and payment

Your enrolment is confirmed once we have received payment through the website. We do not ask for a deposit. You pay the full course fee in one payment when you book.

4. Cooling-off period

If you book as a consumer, you have a 14-day cooling-off period after enrolment, as required by law. That right ends once you have attended the course within that period, and only if you expressly agreed to this in advance.

5. Cancellation by the participant

• If you cancel 14 days or more before the course date, you may cancel free of charge and receive a full refund of the course fee.
• If you cancel less than 14 days but at least 7 days before the course date, 50% of the course fee is payable.
• If you cancel less than 7 days before the course date, the full course fee remains payable.
• You may always send a substitute at no extra cost, provided you tell us in good time.

6. Changes or cancellation by SafetyXAcademy

If there are not enough enrolments, or if the trainer is unavailable, we may reschedule or cancel a course. In that case we offer you a new date, or a full refund of the course fee.

With fewer than 10 participants we may move the course to another date or refund the full amount.

7. Examination

The exam fee is included in the course price. If you do not pass, you can book a resit at the rates charged by the examining body at that time.

8. Liability

SafetyXAcademy aims to deliver courses of good quality. We are not liable if you do not pass an exam.

9. Complaints

You can send complaints to info@safetyxacademy.nl. We reply within 5 working days.

10. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Dutch law.
